Adventour Global — Cancellation & Refund Policy

Scope

Applies to all bookings made through Adventour Global: single-day tours, multi-day packages, and experiences.

Standard Cancellation Tiers

  • 100% refund (minus any non-refundable third-party fees) for cancellations made at least 60 full days before the scheduled start date.
  • 50% refund for cancellations made between 20- 30 full days before the scheduled start date.
  • No refund for other days and same-day cancellations (cancellations on the scheduled start date) or no-shows. (Bookings with hotels package requires advance payment and confirmation therefore we seek travelers understanding)
  • Pay Later Option: Customers are required to pay a 30% deposit to secure their booking. The remaining balance can be settled on-site at the time of service. Our team will contact you to provide details regarding the deposit and guide you through the process.

Exceptions (Eligible for Full Refund or Alternative Remedies)

Adventour Global may issue a full refund, credit, or alternative arrangements when cancellations are due to:
  • Medical emergencies (traveller or immediate family member), with a dated medical certificate or hospital record.
  • Severe weather conditions in the destination that make travel unsafe, supported by official weather advisories and confirmation from our local travel partner.
  • Political unrest or government travel warnings affecting the destination, supported by official government advisories and partner confirmation.
  • Bereavement (death of an immediate family member), with a death certificate or funeral notice.
  • Flight cancellations that prevent travel and where the traveller is unable to reach the start location; must provide airline cancellation/denial documentation and evidence that alternate routing was unavailable or impractical.

Evidence and Partner Advisory Requirement

  • All exception claims must include verifiable documentation (medical certificates, official advisories, airline notices, death certificates).
  • For weather or political exceptions, a written advisory from Adventour Global’s local travel partner or a recognized authority confirming that the tour/experience is unsafe or suspended is required.
  • Adventour Global reserves the right to validate documentation and partner advisories and determine eligibility for exception relief.

Refund Processing
  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days after approval.
  • Adventour Global may deduct any non-refundable third-party supplier fees and transaction fees; these will be itemized in the refund confirmation.
  • Where applicable, a travel credit may be offered instead of a cash refund; credits will have an expiration date (typically 12 months from issue) and are non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Changes and Rescheduling

  • Requests to change dates or participants are treated as cancellations and new bookings, subject to the above fees and availability.
  • For eligible exceptions, Adventour Global will assist with rescheduling at no additional charge if alternative dates are available and suppliers agree.

Supplier Policies & Non-Refundable Components

  • Some components (e.g., special permits, third-party supplier bookings, meals, entrance fees) may be non-refundable. These supplier policies apply and may reduce the refundable amount.
  • Adventour Global will disclose known non-refundable components at booking and in the booking confirmation.

Fraud Prevention & Abuse

  • Adventour Global reserves the right to refuse refunds or credits if documentation is fraudulent or if there is evidence of repeated or abusive claim behavior.
  • Disputes will be reviewed case-by-case; willful misrepresentation may result in booking cancellation and denial of future services.

How to Request a Cancellation or Exception

  • Submit cancellation requests via your Adventour Global account or email cs@adventourglobal.com with booking reference, reason, and supporting documents.
  • For exceptions, include required evidence and note any advisories from local partners; the company will respond within 5 business days to confirm eligibility and next steps.

Amendments

Adventour Global may update this policy. The version applicable is the policy in effect at the time of booking unless otherwise required by law.
