Take Note

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR TRAVELERS:

Halal & Muslim-Friendly Services:
To ensure maximum comfort for our Muslim travelers, all recommended restaurants and dining stops included throughout the itinerary offer Halal-certified or Muslim-friendly options. Bosnia and Herzegovina is well known for its Islamic heritage, and guests will find prayer facilities and mosques easily accessible in all major destinations.

Prayer Time Alignment:
Understanding the importance of daily prayers (Salah), our guides and drivers can coordinate the daily schedule with local prayer times upon request. Sufficient time can be allocated for prayers, with opportunities to visit some of the country's most beautiful historical mosques during the journey.

Clothing & Footwear:
This itinerary combines city sightseeing with nature excursions and mountain visits. Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers are highly recommended, especially for exploring Sarajevo Old Town, Mostar, Kravice Waterfalls, and Vrelo Bosne Nature Park. Since mountain areas such as Trebević and Jahorina can be noticeably cooler, particularly during evenings, we recommend bringing a light jacket or layered clothing.

Weather & Seasonal Conditions:
Mountain activities and visits to natural sites are subject to weather conditions. In case of unfavorable weather, our team reserves the right to slightly modify the daily program or offer suitable alternatives to ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of our guests.

Cultural Courtesy:
Bosnia and Herzegovina is a multicultural country with numerous active mosques, churches, and monasteries. When visiting religious sites, guests are kindly requested to dress respectfully by covering shoulders and knees. Ladies may be required to wear a headscarf when entering indoor prayer areas.

Optional Activities:
At Jahorina Mountain and Sunnyland Park on Trebević, guests may enjoy optional activities such as the alpine coaster, cable cars, mountain biking, ATV tours, and other seasonal attractions. These activities are not included in the package price and are payable directly on site.

Swimming Possibility at Kravice Waterfalls:
During the summer season, guests may have free time to swim and relax near the spectacular Kravice Waterfalls. We recommend bringing swimwear, towels, sunscreen, and comfortable footwear suitable for wet surfaces.

Currency & Payments:
The official currency of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the Convertible Mark (BAM/KM), which is pegged to the Euro (1 EUR ≈ 1.95 BAM). Credit cards are widely accepted in hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, and larger establishments, although carrying some local cash is recommended for smaller purchases and cafés.

Shopping & Tax-Free Refunds:
Sarajevo offers excellent shopping opportunities with modern malls, traditional bazaars, and international brands. Non-EU travelers may benefit from VAT refund procedures (Tax-Free Shopping) when making eligible purchases at participating stores.
