Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Surabaya/Malang – Rainbow Village – Malang
Begin your journey with a warm welcome in Surabaya or Malang. Travel to the vibrant Jodipan Rainbow Village, one of Indonesia’s most Instagram-worthy destinations.
Stroll through colorful alleyways, capture joyful moments, and immerse yourself in the creativity of this transformed riverside village. Continue to your hotel in the Malang area for check-in and relaxation.
Overnight in Malang area.

Day 2 – Tumpak Sewu Waterfall – Bromo Area
After breakfast, journey to the spectacular Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, famously known as the “Niagara of Indonesia.”
With your local guide, trek through lush greenery and descend to witness the breathtaking semicircular curtain of cascading water. Feel the mist on your face and the emotional power of nature surrounding you.
After your waterfall adventure, drive to the highlands near Mount Bromo. Check in and enjoy a peaceful evening while observing the Tenggerese community and serene mountain scenery.
Overnight in Bromo area.

Day 3 – Mount Bromo Sunrise – Sea of Sand – Transfer to Ijen
Early Morning Jeep Adventure
At 2 AM, ride a 4WD Jeep to Mount Penanjakan, the best viewpoint for the world-famous Mount Bromo sunrise tour.
Golden Sunrise Experience
Watch the sky transform into shades of gold as Mount Batok and the majestic Mount Semeru rise above the mist. This iconic East Java volcano panorama will leave you speechless.
Sea of Sand & Crater Exploration
Cross the legendary Sea of Sand and hike to the crater rim of Mount Bromo. Feel the rumble of the active volcano beneath your feet. If fortunate, you may witness the sacred Yadnya Kasada ceremony of the Tenggerese people.
Return for breakfast before continuing your scenic drive to Bondowoso or Banyuwangi. Check in and rest before your midnight Ijen adventure.

Day 4 – Ijen Blue Fire – Return to Surabaya/Malang/Ketapang
Midnight Transfer to Paltuding
Late at night, depart for Paltuding basecamp.
Night Trek to Ijen Crater
Begin your guided hike under the stars. Equipped with a gas mask and headlamp, descend carefully to witness the rare Blue Fire phenomenon—electric-blue flames glowing dramatically in the darkness.
Turquoise Crater Lake at Sunrise
As dawn arrives, marvel at the stunning turquoise sulfur lake—one of the most extraordinary volcanic landscapes in Indonesia.
After breakfast, return comfortably to Surabaya, Malang, or Ketapang Port (approximately 1 hour to Ketapang; 6–7 hours to Surabaya/Malang).

Take Note

1. Temperatures at Mount Bromo and Ijen can be very cold; bring a warm jacket and proper trekking shoes.
2. The Tumpak Sewu and Ijen treks require moderate fitness due to uneven and steep terrain.
3. Weather in East Java is unpredictable; prepare for sudden rain or temperature drops.
4. Please be ready at least 10 minutes before each scheduled departure time.
