This 14-day expedition traverses five Central Asian nations, showcasing the region’s diverse wonders. From Almaty’s peaks and Kyrgyzstan’s alpine gorges to the silk-road splendor of Samarkand and Bukhara, the journey culminates in Turkmenistan. Highlights include the turquoise Iskanderkul Lake, ancient Merv, and the mesmerizing fire of the Darvaza Gas Crater.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Almaty
• Southern Capital Discovery: Start with an early check-in and explore Almaty’s major attractions, including Republic Square and the Abai Opera House.
• Kok-Tobe Hill: Take a cableway ride for panoramic city views and a stroll through the winding mountain paths.
Day 2: Almaty – Charyn Canyon – Almaty
• Ancient Landscapes: Experience the 12-million-year-old "Valley of Castles" with its wind-sculpted vertical cliffs and labyrinthine paths.
Day 3: Almaty – Kazakh-Kyrgyz Border – Bishkek
• Kyrgyz Hospitality: Drive to the capital, Bishkek, nestled at the foot of the Tian Shan mountains. Tour Victory Square and Ala-Too Square.
Day 4: Ala Archa Gorge & Asian Bazaar

Day 5: Bishkek – Osh (Flight)

Day 8: Dushanbe City Exploration
• Capital Grandeur: Visit the world’s tallest flagpole (165m), the National Museum, and the Kokhi Navruz (world’s largest teahouse).
Day 9: Dushanbe – Tashkent (Flight)
• Uzbekistan Arrival: Fly to Tashkent and ride its world-famous subway. Explore the Old City and view the 8th-century Othman Quran.
Day 10: Tashkent – Samarkand (Train)
• Timeless Beauty: Travel by train to Samarkand to marvel at Registan Square and the blue-tiled Shakhi-Zindeh necropolis.
Day 11: Samarkand – Bukhara (Train)
• Holy Bukhara: Visit the 4th-century Citadel Ark and the Samanids Mausoleum, a jewel of Islamic architecture.
Day 12: Bukhara – Mary (Turkmenistan)
• Desert Crossroads: Cross into Turkmenistan and visit Ancient Merv, one of the most important Islamic capitals along the Great Silk Road.
Day 13: Mary – Ashgabat – Darvaza – Ashgabat
• The Door to Hell: Fly to Ashgabat and continue to the burning Darvaza Gas Crater. Witness the spectacular fire in the desert night before returning to the capital.
Day 14: Ashgabat – Departure
• Parthian Kings: Visit the UNESCO-listed Old Nisa fortress and the grand Gypjak Mosque before your final flight home.

• Flight Luggage: The domestic flight from Osh to Bishkek has a 15kg check-in luggage limit; excess weight will incur additional local fees.
• Train Availability: High-speed bullet train tickets in Uzbekistan are subject to availability. If unavailable, a normal train or vehicle transfer will be provided.
• Diverse Terrains: You will experience everything from high-altitude mountain passes to desert sands; pack layered clothing and sturdy walking shoes.
