Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Merzouga
• Your adventure begins early in Marrakech, heading south across the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the breathtaking Tizi n’Tichka Pass, Morocco’s highest road pass offering panoramic views and dramatic scenery.
• Stop at the legendary Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and iconic film location, where earthen architecture tells stories of ancient caravan routes. Enjoy lunch nearby before continuing to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa”, with time to visit Kasbah Taourirt or the famous Atlas Film Studios.
• Travel through the serene Skoura Oasis, dotted with palm groves and centuries-old kasbahs, then onward to Erfoud, a gateway town famous for fossils and desert culture. By sunset, arrive in Merzouga, where the glowing Erg Chebbi dunes welcome you.
• Ride a camel into the heart of the Sahara as the sun paints the dunes gold. At your desert camp, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, live Berber music, and unforgettable stargazing in the silent desert night.
Day 2: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Return to Marrakech

• Depart Merzouga toward Rissani, home to one of the region’s most authentic traditional markets, rich in Saharan culture. Continue to the spectacular Todra Gorge, where towering canyon walls create a refreshing natural oasis—perfect for lunch and a leisurely walk.
• In the afternoon, begin the scenic drive back to Marrakech, passing changing landscapes of desert plains, valleys, and mountain views. Arrive by evening, concluding your Sahara escape with lifelong memories.
