Day 2 — Kashgar
• Sunday Livestock Market (vibrant, photogenic), Idigar Mosque, Apak Hoja Tomb.
• Walk Kashgar Old Town and Handicraft Street — jewelry, pottery, instruments. Highlight: Authentic Silk Road atmosphere and street-food tasting.
Day 3 — Kashgar → Taxkorgan (Pamir Highway)
• Scenic drive along China-Pakistan highway across Pamir Plateau.
• Stop at Karakul Lake for dramatic high-altitude views and photos. Overnight Taxkorgan.
Day 4 — Taxkorgan → Sost → Gulmit (cross-border)
• Immigration formalities, meet Pakistani guide at border.
• Explore Sost bazaar, then drive to Gulmit — gateway to upper Hunza. Note: Carry passport and visa documents; border timings variable.
Day 5 — Gulmit, Ghulkin hike & Borith Lake
• Morning village hike to Ghulkin; home-cooked lunch with a local family.

Day 6 — Gulmit → Karimabad (Hunza)

Day 7 — Karimabad full day (Duiker, Altit, Hoper Glacier)
• Early jeep to Duiker Viewpoint for sunrise over Rakaposhi, Ultar and Diran.

Day 8 — Karimabad → Fairy Meadows (via Raikot)
• Scenic Karakoram Highway stops, Nanga Parbat viewpoint near Talich.
• Jeep to Tato, trek ~2 hours to lush Fairy Meadows; overnight huts. Highlight: Immersive alpine meadow below Nanga Parbat.
Day 9 — Fairy Meadows (Bayal Camp)
• Trek to Bayal (base area for Nanga Parbat), free time to explore, photography and nature walks. Note: Moderate trekking; be prepared for cold evenings.
Day 10 — Fairy Meadows → Raikot → Besham
• Return trek/jeep to Raikot, continue along Indus on Karakoram Highway with historic rock inscriptions en route.
• Arrive Besham for overnight; watch dramatic river valley changes.
Day 11 — Besham → Taxila → Islamabad
• Drive to Islamabad; visit archaeological Taxila (Greco-Buddhist ruins, museums).
• Continue to Islamabad; capital city arrival. Highlight: World-class archaeology and cultural contrast.
Day 12 — Islamabad half-day & departure
• Morning visit: Faisal Mosque, Shakarparian viewpoint, Rawalpindi Raja Bazaar.
• Transfer to airport for onward flight.
