Tour Synopsis

Journey through Uzbekistan’s legendary Silk Road cities where empires rose, faith flourished, and trade connected civilizations. From majestic architecture and sacred sites to vibrant bazaars and desert landscapes, this immersive experience brings history, culture, and timeless traditions vividly to life.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Tashkent
• Flight from the city of origin to Tashkent. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to the hotel. Time to rest and adjust before the journey begins. Hotel accommodation from 14:00.

Day 2 – Tashkent City Tour
• After breakfast, explore the capital of Uzbekistan. Visit the Khast Imam Complex, home to the 7th-century Quran of Caliph Uthman, and admire its historic madrasahs and mosques. Continue to Chorsu Bazaar, a vibrant traditional market. Experience the beautifully designed Tashkent Metro before lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, enjoy modern Tashkent City Park. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 – Tashkent to Samarkand by Train
• Early breakfast and transfer to the railway station for the train to Samarkand. Begin exploring this 3,000-year-old Silk Road city with visits to the Amir Temur Mausoleum, the magnificent Registan Square, and the grand Bibi Khanum Mosque. Wander through Siyob Market, sampling traditional sweets and dried fruits. Transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4 – Samarkand Exploration and Train to Bukhara
• Continue discovering Samarkand, known as the “Rome of the Orient.” Visit the sacred Shahi-Zinda Necropolis and the Afrosiyab Museum with its ancient ruins. After lunch, observe traditional craftsmanship at the Silk Paper Workshop and Silk Carpet Factory. In the evening, take a high-speed train to Bukhara. Arrival and hotel accommodation.

Day 5 – Bukhara City Tour
• After breakfast, explore Bukhara, one of Central Asia’s most important historic cities and the birthplace of Avicenna. Visit the Labi Khouz Complex and walk through ancient domed trading quarters. View the Ulugbek and Abdulaziz Khan Madrasahs from outside. Continue to the Poyi Kalon Complex, Ismail Samani Mausoleum, and the Ark Fortress. End the day with an exterior visit to Bolo Hauz Mosque. Overnight in Bukhara.

Day 6 – Bukhara to Khiva via Kyzylkum Desert
• Breakfast at the hotel, then depart for Khiva by tourist vehicle or train. Travel across the Kyzylkum Desert, once crossed by Silk Road caravans. After lunch en route, arrive in Khiva and begin exploring Ichan-Qala, the walled inner city. Visit Muhammad Amin Khan Madrasah, Kalta Minor Minaret, and Kohna Ark. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 – Khiva Tour and Flight to Tashkent
• After breakfast, continue exploring Khiva. Visit Muhammad Rahim Khan Madrasah, the unique Juma Mosque with its wooden columns, and the Tash Hovli Palace. See the Allakuli Khan Caravanserai, Islam Khoja Madrasah and Minaret (external view), Pahlavan Mahmud Complex, and the Mennonite Museum. Transfer to Urgench Airport for the domestic flight to Tashkent. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 – Departure from Tashkent
• After breakfast, visit the Applied Art Museum, Minor Mosque, TV Tower, and Magic City. Enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Transfer to Tashkent International Airport for the return flight. End of services.
